ABOUT KING ELECTRIC
The musicians Peter Hartwig and Chris Isepp founded their record label top10records in spring 2003 as an independent platform for their own productions. That the label stands out from the rest is down to its peculiar definition of pop music. Needless to say, we are not talking about the concept of pop music as propagated by the global "energy radio stations".
At top10records, pop is conceived as a declaration of faith in songs with a fearless use of hedonistic hook lines, spiced up with citations from the voluptuous treasure trove of the musical past.
Following the unexpected death of the Sultans of Swing in 2006, Peter and Chris are again united after a three-year break and have released at last their comeback single "Da King", heralding their forthcoming album.
